Calla's Thirty-Ninth Post

So, Obama is or President, and he has been for some time now. I watched his inauguration for like seven hours on CNN and the commentary was so mind-numbingly dumb. CNN is probably like the most ridiculous channel in the world. The analysis they give of everything is thin and weak. And then they add all this stupid technology like holograms, magic maps, 3D pie charts, satellite images, giant pictures made out of viewers' smaller camera phone pictures. And, of course, none of this helps you understand the news story. And, of course, they repeat the same 5 news stories on loop for like 48 hours until they find five more. PLUS. Lou Dobbs is on CNN. I hate him.

So, anyway, I watched the inauguration just because, ya know, it felt like the right thing to do. And then I guess I kept waiting for more interesting things to happen. I actually don't know why I watched it as long as I did. They messed up the oath. That poet was no good. The band instrument-synched. The one cool part was Abraham Lincoln's bible. That was cool that it came out of retirement or whatever.

Um. so my eyes are BURNING. But I wanted to write a lot more. It is just too dang dry in here!! So, I will write more later and soon instead of writing more now. Which I can't do cause my eyes HURT HURT HURT.
